The Atlantic Volleyball Club was born from Coach Beatriz Piper's vision and can-do attitude. As a coach, she realized that recreational volleyball was not going to give her players the experience or background they would need to excel in the sport. As a working parent, she knew that the typical travel volleyball club was financially and logistically nearly impossible for many hard working families.
So Beatriz came up with a solution.

Director/Head Coach - Beatriz Piper
Beatriz's passion for volleyball began early in life. With a very athletic family, and a mom determined to make her a great volleyball player, she was training daily by the time she was 6 years old. That passion carried through her middle and high school years, when Beatriz played for Jupiter Elite, Jupiter Middle School, Dwyer High School and Jupiter Christian School. Not content with one sport, she also played travel soccer with Jupiter United for 7 years.
Attending a music college, Beatriz's sports career took a bit of a back seat for a few years - but the love of volleyball never died. Upon arriving back in her hometown of Jupiter, an opportunity presented itself- coaching! She hasn’t looked back.
Developmental Director - Heather Adams
Part "Team Mom", part Communications Director, part Coach, Heather's introduction to volleyball came later in life. However, her experience working with children from a variety of backgrounds spans decades. With a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University, Heather has worked as a preschool teacher, social worker, case manager, and after school program coordinator. She has trained as a competitive rower and distance runner, but these days finds joy in yoga, walking and honing her float serve.
